Search Your Logs
Published by Ninth Stage March 30th, 2006 in Blog Stuff, Only Ones Professional Enough, The Law.I had a search through my blog for Culosi, the optometrist slaughtered by a cop with no gun skilz, by someone using the ISP of Dimuro Ginsberg & Lieberman. Dimuro Ginsberg & Lieberman is a law firm, trial lawyers, in Alexandria, Virginia.
I have one post on Culosi’s death here with strong language for the cop who’s accident ended a man’s life and for statist, elitist, law enforcement brow-nosing Fairfax Commonwealth’s Attorney Robert F. Horan Jr. My anger is mainly directed towards the Commonwealth’s Attorney who’s offhand dismissal of the case against the cop amounts to “stuff happens, it was an accident, get over it.”
Culosi was being investigated for sports betting in a warrant served by the local podunk SWAT team. In thirty years Horan has never brought charges against a police officer. I guess that the police force in his jurisdiction is so good so special that they’ve never done anything wrong. It seems that the SWAT team may be special too.
Accidents do happen but it wasn’t an accident that someone with such poor gun handling skills, without having even the basic safety rules down, someone like Officer Deval V. Bullock was put on the SWAT team. However poor the training was, however mediocre the oversight was, however slight the skills this elite police unit had, someone found this officer fit enough to be assigned to the Special Weapons And Tactics team. And then someone saw fit to deploy SWAT to serve a warrant on an optometrist.
I don’t know why someone from Dimuro Ginsberg & Lieberman would be interested in the shooting death of Salvatore J. Culosi and I don’t know why they would look for him here when they arrived with a search for “H&K .45.” Maybe it will turn out that it’s the gun’s fault, again.
The Culosi family has a site here.
Update: The visit is explained in this comment.

Hi there -
DiMuro Ginsberg, PC represents Mr. and Mrs. Culosi. I hope this clears up any confusion. Thank you for continuing to raise questions regarding the senseless death of Dr. Culosi.
