Disturbed Senator

Bill Frist is “concerned” that the cops entered his house err Senate.

…they are disturbed by the raid. Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist (R-Tenn.) said that he is “very concerned” about the incident and that Senate and House counsels will review it.

House Speaker J. Dennis Hastert (R-Ill.) expressed alarm at the raid. “The actions of the Justice Department in seeking and executing this warrant raise important Constitutional issues that go well beyond the specifics of this case” …

No evidence of guns drawn, kittens stomped or dogs shot. Take a chill pill Senator, you’re still being treated better than the peons.

(Just Like You and Me Only Better, JLYMOB)

Update: Yeah I know that Rep. William Jefferson is a congressman and hence in the “house,” I just think it is amusing to hear our lawmakers in general and the Senator from TN in particular expressing concern about possible Fed LE abuse in this case.

Being above it all so to speak, I’m sure that they’re sure that this is one of the very few instances of such possible abuse. It is my belief that this investigation is one of the few places were abuse is impossible - meaning that it is my belief that is impossible to investigate the bastards on the hill too aggressively. All the bastards, Ds Is and Rs.

Shutting up now. Here is more on the bi-partisan outrage fest.

And: “Sort of like a man who catches his cheating spouse in the act and all she can say is ‘I can’t believe you didn’t knock!’” Heh!

It’s time for millions of pickfork wielding Americans to storm Washington. If a few hundred thousand illegal aliens can march then millions of Americans can too.
