At the end some guy drops a bullet, just the projectile, from his hand. A pristine spire point bullet sans engraving marks from the rifling, presumably fired from the handgun shown earlier in the show hits the floor and sounds a lot like a piece of spent brass. I’m so glad the newsrooms are accurate.

I saw that episode too.
They flashed the gun by so quick I really couldn’t make it out. Then they later showed it pointed at the camera and it had a distinctly square Glock profile, perhaps a .40 cal 22/23? Dunno.
The bullet had me laughing on the floor. Sheez, hollyweird.
Heh, me too. A sort of laughing WTF?
Maybe it was an FN Five-seveN Somehow I had an itch that that is what it was at the beginning of the show, maybe they showed a projectile near the time of the shooting? Anyway it would be a very odd choice of pistol and more so where there was no description or discussion of the weapon - And, in the end, it is an even more odd pistol that leaves a bullet untouched, ready for reloading and HOLLOW.
