Those F1s were pulling 5 Gs in the turns at Silverstone this weekend. That’s some serious aero downforce. Turn one was flat out at 180mph.
+ some serious sticky tires. How fast were the turns? Flat? Banked?
turn one is flat. The faster drivers never lifted the throttle. Downforce exceeds 1g. They could drive on the ceiling. Some drivers are very fast testers but their necks don’t hold up for race length.
They’re in Montreal this weekend.
