Reloading

At my post on the World’s Least Powerful Handgun! Scotty asks in comments: “Nice, but how do you reload these?â€
That put me to work and now that I’ve had time to work up some loads I thought I’d share one with you.

Priming. Soak one CCI small pistol primer in one drop of acetone in a sealed container overnight. Carefully remove the anvil and scrape out the priming compund. Divide the priming compound into fifty equal piles. One pile of powder will suffice for one round of 2.34 X 6.1. Funnel a 1/50th pile into the case and put another drop of acetone in the case. Put the case with the priming compound and acetone, mouth up, into the chuck of a drill press. Adjust the drill press to approximately 500 RPM. Warning: Do not exceed 1000 RPM or the results could be devastating! Turn on the drill press and leave it running overnight.
You now have one re-primed case. The acetone will have dried overnight and the priming compound will be in the rim of the rimfire case.
Powder charge: Use 3 granules of Bullseye powder, this should be considered a +P charge.
Bullet: Cut off a .160″ long piece of 3/32″ diameter solid core solder (rosin core can be used and makes an excellent hollowpoint for humane hunting and self protection. Besides it leaves a pleasant piney odor when fired.) This projectile is larger in diameter than the original bullet and should fit snugly into the case.
Assembly: Drop the powder into the case with a 6″ long brass drop tube to compress the charge and insure ignition. Press the bullet .080″ deep into the case and you’re done.
!!! These data are to be taken with tongue firmly planted in cheek !!!
