Ninth Stage

I was talking to an old friend about the problems I’ve had with my adoptive children from China. One day my television and DVD player along with all my DVDs went missing. I found them at a pawn shop and from the owner I learned it was my oldest son that had taken them. When confronted he said he’d given the money to a homeless person but when we got home I found the money under his mattress. The younger son has taken to reading Mao’s Little Red Book and denouncing western culture as decadent. I finally asked my friend for some advice, he said “let Chicoms be Chicoms.”
