The authoritarian party is dead, long live the authoritarian party.
No matter who *wins* the election, the majority of the People of voting age have spoken clearly, again.
This was not a Satan vs. Cthulhu election.
It was Cthulhu vs. Yog-Sothoth.
That is what happens when ideology trumps supporting the Nation: people do not vote and the ideologues get corrupted by power and then use that to turn off even more voters.
The incompetent or the clueless. Slimy evil or amorphous evil.
