Modified (something was bolted on?) Scary!

High-powered optical sighting (hunting?) scopes. Scary!

Extended (normal?) capacity magazines. Scary!

High velocity (come on now, they were sitting still, weren’t they?) bullets. Scary!

These weapons were so scary that sheriff’s Sgt. David Kurylowicz would never allow his men to use such weapons? Unlikely.
