Published by Ninth Stage November 29th, 2006 in Culture, Gun Control.As a pro rights supporter of the Bill of Rights I exercise my right to carry by putting on a sidearm every morning. The anti-self-defense movement continues it’s endeavors to deny me that right. This movement also wants to take away my household firearms and full capacity magazines, they’ve even put bans on affordable guns with their racist gun laws. That’s why I contribute to civil rights organizations.
I used to infuriate this one gun-grabber co-worker by constantly referring to them as “standard capacity magazines,” and the ban-era 10-rounders as “low capacity.” It was really funny. He would just get spitting mad every time I mentioned anything about guns. Sometimes I miss having him around just to push his buttons.
Heh. I haven’t had “co”-workers for twenty years but I did have an employee who’d fled Communist Hungary. He was anti-communist but heavily socialist in his desire for free stuff. I’d say “that’s communist” at any such suggestion and that would get him really worked up - I sure miss Josef.
