Speeder Fights Back

A speeder caught by radar and on film multiple times is fighting back. He’s filed a “stalking” complaint against his tormentors. The habitual speeder is Kenessaw GA police officer Richard Perrone but the couple documenting his infractions are not.

“Oh, I’ve caught him going 42, 37, going up the hill, down the hill, all kinds of speeds.”

The Kennesaw officer is named Richard Perrone – he declined our request for an interview.

Kennesaw police say they’ve talked with the Sipples, but can’t interfere in another county’s business.

So the speeder filed his complaint in Bartow County, where the Sipples live.

According to the warrant affidavit filed by Officer Perrone, he says the Sipples did harass him by sending his employer multiple e-mails in an effort to get him in trouble. Kennesaw Police say they are investigating and have counseled Perrone before for improperly flashing his badge at the Sipples. A judge will here Perrone’s stalking application February 14.

So it seems the cop version of stalking is telling his superiors about their wrongdoing.

We’ll see if this helps weed departments of bad apples or encourages bad behavior - I know which I’ll bet on.

I live in the AREA and know of this officer well. He is an arogant, know it all, piss ant.

But then again Kennesaw PD is not know for it’s standards, like the County Police are know very well for.
