Murders with guns in the gun control paradise. To be fair, it’s a problem of gun and knife murders but we’d been told that crimes with guns would decrease.

Gun and knife killings are getting out of control as six Londoners were murdered over the past week and one child is stabbed to death each week, anti-crime campaigners warned.

I know, I know, my sources say that it is not actually guns and knives being killed or doing the killing, rather it is criminals using guns and knives to kill. Big surprise there but just once I’d like credit given where due.

Local communities were being blighted by run-away violence as gang members who believe they are “untouchable” carry guns and weapons as a matter of routine to carry out crimes and to settle scores.

“Communities were being blighted” in Old Blighty no less. But there you have it,  it’s criminals that are the problem.

Now as a matter of “urgency,” police should carry out random and targeted stop and search to catch weapon wielding thugs backed up with the introduction of a mandatory five year prison sentence for those carrying illegal knives - the same penalty as carrying guns.

Bwahahaha. Yeah that whole gun ban thing is working so well all you need to do is try the same thing with knives. Makes me wanna puke. Suddenly I have a matter of “urgency” - back in a sec.

I thought the incidence of crime with guns was down in the green and pleasant land.

[Victims of Crime Trust director Norman Brennan] added although government figures show a small reduction in gun related crime, it is under reported and has to be viewed against “unprecedented” high levels of knife and gun crime over the last five years.

They were just sweeping it under the rug.
