Nashville Charity Shoot

Held at Stones River Hunter Education Center and the Tennessee Clay Target Complex, a handgun and shotgun competition and charity shoot for the Nashville Area American Cancer Society.

The inaugural Charity Shoot to benefit the Nashville Area American Cancer Society was a big success. Ronnie and Pat Barrett were honorary chairs for the event that attracted over 100 competitive shooters and scores of spectators to the Stones River Hunter Education Center and the Tennessee Clay Target Complex for a combination of handgun and shotgun competition.

Business leaders, Country Music personalities and public officials shared their time and shooting talents for the cause. Over $3,000 was raised from those shooting the Barrett .416 Rifle and willing to donate $20 per shot to the ACS. Overall, approximately $60,000 was raised on behalf of the area chapter of ACS and its many support services.

Via the ACE (and how come I have to learn about it from a blog anyway).
