Stop It

There’s an old saying, if you don’t use it you lose it. That is the primary reason that SWAT teams being used for routine search warrants will not go away.
Another reason is that being on a dynamic entry team is exciting, gives the cops a relatively risk free adrenaline rush. The reason they shoot dogs is because they train to shoot and want some trigger time. Shooting people invites investigations and scrutiny, dead dogs don’t.
Until we get a recognized sticker or registry designating that “This is a Knock and Announce Home”, we will continue to be treated as the Symbionese Liberation Army for the purpose of a search warrant.

Does anyone make a window sticker (like those warning that the house is alarmed/monitored) that says something like: “All invasions of this home will be met with equal or greater violence”?
Houston…..that’s a good idea!! Something like the “Secured by Second Amendment” stickers…
