Equivalence
Published by Ninth Stage October 29th, 2008 in Ignorance. If dad had put his kid on a motorcycle or pair of skis and the kid died it wouldn’t be such a big deal to gun bigots. This guy isn’t sad that a child died. He’s joyful for the opportunity to rant about his prejudices.

Always sad when a child dies, always. And even more so when with parents and family having a good time. The gleeful fellow gloating over another gun death to prove his point, doesn’t want to know that swimming and drowning kill more children each year than firearms. All deaths are tragic.
