Earlier this month I pointed out Mark Schronce’s 3/4″ record 600 yard group.  Mark set a short lived record.
Bob Hoppe is the new record holder, his 37/64″ group (humor me with my fractions) was shot with a 6mm Dasher (6BR with the shoulder blown forward).
Congratulations to Bob Hoppe!

Jessie Abbate wins top ladies honor in the USPSA multi-gun championship. She is only one of the many hot women competing in the action sports today. I’d like to see more of them.
Jessie is a member of Team Glock. I’d also like to see the shotgun and rifle she used.

Improving Your Game

Via Catfish at the Texican Tattler, a set of tools for improving your mental game.
Whether that game be rifle competition, pistol competition or, dare I say, golf, they have the tools for you.  And if Brian Enos gives you a thumbs up, you know it’s good stuff.

Held at Stones River Hunter Education Center and the Tennessee Clay Target Complex, a handgun and shotgun competition and charity shoot for the Nashville Area American Cancer Society.
The inaugural Charity Shoot to benefit the Nashville Area American Cancer Society was a big success. Ronnie and Pat Barrett were honorary chairs for the event that attracted [...]

Mouse Magic

Ever wonder how your mouse pointer works, you know, the little arrow that moves around the screen? Surf here and mouse over the pale gray circle to see a magnified image of the arrow and the technology behind it.

The New Golf

It seems that shooting is becoming the “new golf” as a networking tool for the corporately connected, in England of all sodding places.  The Smallest Minority has the skinny on this surprising development.

Shooting Fun

Went Down to the Creek

Knob Creek that is, shootin’ irons, machine guns.
We left home last Friday (the 13th) morning for the semiannual Machine Gun Shoot. Leaving Gallatin at 5:30 AM early we were parked in the lot by 9:00.
Exiting the truck in the parking lot I felt a sudden urge to laugh. The roar of all [...]

Nationals

The USPSA (IPSC) Nationals start today.
Foregoing better-known venues, USPSA is moving one of its premier matches to the gun-friendly Southwest, occupying the recently-finished United States Shooting Academy (USSA) range outside of Tulsa, Okla., from Oct. 11-15.
Oklahoma beats the hell out of Barry Illinois and continuing to funnel money to Dick (mastermind of The Masters [...]

ePostal eXtended

The last ePostal shooting match of the year (maybe) has been extended to October 7.  This match is the best (and quickest) round of “Golf” you’ll ever shoot.

Angry Socialist

I’m accused, in comments to a different post, by a socialist Canadian of being a bitchy American for complaining about my internet service being down.
“Leave it to Americans to bitch about their internet and tv. They can’t survive one minuet (must be a French speaking Canadian, eh?) without it. Comcast provides amazing service. [...]
