Barack Grand Kleagle Obama
2 Comments Published by Ninth Stage October 30th, 2008 in Gun Control, Politics.Am I comparing Barack Obama to the KKK? Why yes, I am. You see, Obama and the KKK want to keep guns out of the hands of the lower classes. The only argument between them is where to draw the line.
Funny thing is, Obama has three quarters of the KKK/neonazi/white supremacist vote. Why not? They’re [...]
Stop Lying To Yourself
0 Comments Published by Ninth Stage June 28th, 2008 in Gun Control, Second Amendment. So, those who think the Supreme Court got it 180 degrees wrong, I guess the following would finally guarantee the people a right to arms:
A well regulated people, being necessary to the security of a Police State, the right of the government to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
Right? If not, you were [...]
Crime in Chicago
2 Comments Published by Ninth Stage May 20th, 2008 in Gun Control, JLYMOB, Politics.I have a tip for the Chicago Police Department (Anti-Gun Enforcement:(877) CPD-GUNS/(877) 273-4867) about a man with a cache of arms. This arsenal belonging to Richard Mell includes powerful banned automatic handguns. Mell is ,obviously, armed is also powerful, and well connected. I highly recommend using SWAT and a dynamic entry team [...]
I know it’s not scientific but I’ll take my pleasure where I find it. And I know it doesn’t “give”, it protects.
USA Today poll: Does the Second Amendment give individuals the right to bear arms?
We’re winning 32 to 1.
When DC’s right to arms is recognized again, residents can get hooked up with a pistol through Josh Sugarmann, FFL. Yeah, it’s the same Josh Sugarmann that heads the anti-rights Violence Policy Center.
STI has ceased all shipments of firearms to California.
The move by STI comes after Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger signed microstamping legislation into law. “This law is not going to stop criminals, it is only going to hurt law-abiding citizens in the state,” STI’s Pauletta Skinner told Bullet Points. “We felt like we had to take a [...]
Deceptive Advertising?
0 Comments Published by Ninth Stage November 5th, 2007 in Gun Control, Ignorance. These ads are unfair and deceptive because they suggest to the consumer that the purchase of a fire extinguisher is an effective means of providing for self and family fire-protection without warning the consumer that the introduction of a fire extinguisher into the home actually places the home’s occupants at an increased risk of death [...]
Poles Flee Violent UK
15 Comments Published by Ninth Stage November 2nd, 2007 in Culture, Gun Control.Poles in the UK are doing the work Chavs won’t. Unfortunately the police aren’t doing or are unable to do the job you’d expect them to. So, wisely realizing a culture who’s primary response to thug culture is issuing ASBOs is not a culture that values a civilized, well, culture, Poles are fleeing [...]
Jayne Lyn Stahl “More Silencers For Guns Please”
2 Comments Published by Ninth Stage October 31st, 2007 in Culture, Gun Control, Ignorance. Not Really.
At The Stuffiness Host, Jayne Lyn Stahl backs away from her recent vilifying of NRA members and then charges back in against the vast right-wing gun lobby*, with vigor.
Generalizing from her “feelings”, she puts the language of the left where our constitutionally protected civil right to arms should be.
Increasingly, in a world in which [...]
Here.
All this, says Richard Feldman, a former NRA insider and gun lobbyist, is bad news for an organisation that likes nothing better than a fight. Confrontation enables the NRA to engage in “financial bloodsucking” of its members and to make “deceitful appeals” for cash.
Mr Feldman, who is public enemy number one for the NRA, has [...]
We Must Disarm This Source of Illegal Guns
4 Comments Published by Ninth Stage October 30th, 2007 in Gun Control, Only Ones Professional Enough, TFIC.Disarm the police to save The Childrenâ„¢.
Criminals are going after cops — for their guns.
In the past year, gang members, thieves and drug dealers in Palm Beach County have broken into at least six police cars and stolen handguns and shotguns, officials say.
…
Despite the risk, criminals are hitting police cruisers in South Florida and across [...]
Here’s a little secret the NRA doesn’t want you to know: Most gun owners are almost never inconvenienced by gun laws. That’s because most people who buy guns do not do it on a whim. A waiting period or one gun a month is only a problem for people who want a gun immediately.
Wrong! It [...]
Farewell To Arms
0 Comments Published by Ninth Stage October 22nd, 2007 in Culture, Gun Control, NRA.NRA Video about UK gun ban schemes and a warning about our possible future:
Found here.
I tried posting about this story this morning but couldn’t because my connection was flaky. There’s really no point in saying anything about it now since the author is getting shellacked in comments.
I don’t know the whole deal here (but that’s never stopped me from commenting). The guy has 350 guns, I say, “nice start.” The government says, “aha! ASSAULT WEAPONS!” What got my attention was this:
Middletown police and federal agents were studying three additional assault weapons to see whether they were manufactured after [...]
Gas on a Fire
0 Comments Published by Ninth Stage October 18th, 2007 in Culture, Gun Control, Ignorance.Call to ban legally owned guns from private homes in UK to combat criminal use of illegally owned guns. It’s kinda like banning legal immigration to combat illegal immigration, they sorta sound the same but they’re actually opposites.
Russian pro-gun activists use American statistics to argue for legal gun ownership and carry.
[T]he public in Russia is increasingly leaning towards a more liberal law on weapons. For the last half a year the State Duma has been discussing the possibility of giving the people real firearms, as is done in the United States, for [...]
The Belfast Telegraph likes Giuliani because he “He backs gun control, gay rights and abortion” (my bold). Seems they didn’t get the message from Rudy’s campaign; “On’tday entionmay ethay ungay ontrolcay.”
Poor Aleksandra doesn’t like guns.
My boyfriend told me something that nearly brought me to tears.
“I bought a gun,” he said.
She talks about “need” for a while and then the only thing she can think to do about guns is a Brady talking point.
I’m in full support of stricter background checks at gun stores and gun [...]
All this talk about California’s “microstamping” law being ineffective and expensive misses the point. The point with this (and all anti-gun laws) is to give the appearance of doing something and to set up a failure leading to calls for ever more gun control.
