Badge Criminals
2 Comments Published by Ninth Stage September 12th, 2008 in Civil Liberties, JLYMOB, Only Ones Professional Enough.New Orleans must be some kind of cesspool that Katrina did not cause but rather revealed. NO cops stealing from stores is an image we remember. That was impersonal burglary. We also remember NO cops and their proxies stealing the tools of protection from the survivors of Katriana. Badged robbers are [...]
Stop It
2 Comments Published by Ninth Stage August 13th, 2008 in Civil Liberties, JLYMOB, Only Ones Professional Enough, The War on Citizens, The War on Drugs, The War on Terror.Stop using swat teams on civilians. That’s a reasonable request. One that will go unheeded of course.
There’s an old saying, if you don’t use it you lose it. That is the primary reason that SWAT teams being used for routine search warrants will not go away.
Another reason is that being on a [...]
Bill “Ten Round” Ruger
4 Comments Published by Ninth Stage August 13th, 2008 in Guns, Only Ones Professional Enough.must be spinning in his grave over this Mini-14 20 round magazine promotion.
Actually, I think that wiser heads in the company are trying to wipe off the stain the big man’s words left on the name Ruger, and 20 round magazines seemed like a nice place to wipe.

Hey Man, Nice Shot
2 Comments Published by Ninth Stage June 2nd, 2007 in Only Ones Professional Enough, The War on Citizens, What the ... ?.The Justice Department effectively said “hey man, nice shot” to that negligent cop, Deval Bullock, who accidentally pulled the trigger and killed Dr. Salvatore Culosi. This was the last opportunity for justice for Sal and is a sickening example of the government protecting it’s own. That tin shield works real good don’t it? [...]

Jammies Jammed
2 Comments Published by Ninth Stage April 22nd, 2007 in Blog Stuff, Media, Only Ones Professional Enough, Stupid Bloggers.I’m not sure why I dislike Pajamas Media so much. Sure, I find the name too precious and the shenanigans around it’s origins were tawdry, but that doesn’t explain the depth of my distaste. Fortunately, using Adblock, I never see any of Pajama’s ads and I’m only reminded of their existence from links [...]
16 Blocks is a pretty good movie about how cops should be unarmed while the populace is.
Speeding Cop Zumbos
0 Comments Published by Ninth Stage February 19th, 2007 in Only Ones Professional Enough.I mentioned the Kennisaw GA cop who filed a stalking complaint against some citizens who complained about his speeding here. Turns out he’s Zumboed and withdrawn the complaint. Not a true Zumbo of course, it’s unlikely officer Perrone’s job was in danger,
Speeder Fights Back

Two other Gallatin PD officers resigned in January. Officer Dustin Rush resigned on the 19th after watching porn and “Girls Gone Wild’ at work. Police Sgt. Jeff Petty resigned on the 9th after two officers he supervised showed their nads to each other. What a department.

And Taser Girl Makes Six
0 Comments Published by Ninth Stage February 3rd, 2007 in Only Ones Professional Enough, The Law.The Gallatin Police Department has lately been on a roll, on a roll as in heads rolling.  With this rate of attrition the Red Light Cameras Tisdale had installed around town start to make some kind of sense.
The sixth police officer resignation since late October occurred Wednesday.
Negrin, 35, faced three departmental violations for [...]
